PROPERTIES / FUNCTION

Rheological properties were significantly changed by esterification. Consequences are:

  • Formation of water soluble films
  • Increase of acid stability
  • Increase of stability regarding heating, stirring and shearing stress
 
 

APPLICATION

ALLSTARCH ACETATE is primarily applied as a thickener in:

  • Dressings and mayonnaise
  • Blancmange powder and desserts
  • Convenience products, tinned food and freezed food
  • Sauces and dry fare
  • Bakery products
  • Cake filling
 

FOOD LAW / REGULATION

ALLSTARCH ACETATE complies with directive 95/2/EC, Annex 1 modified starches, with directive 2008/84/EC of directive number 178/2002/EC food safety, with directive 1881/2006 for toxic metals (heavy metals) as well as with all further valid food law requirements.

24 months from date of production in unopened packing
